February 17, 2017

COQUITLAM B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Coquitlam-Maillardville, Nicola Spurling. Spurling is a project manager and chairs the Vancouver Pride Society's Outreach Committee.

I want to see a British Columbia where everyone's voice is heard,” said Spurling. “A British Columbia that doesn't discriminate, and where everyone has access to the care they need. I want a provincial government that is transparent, won't accept corporate donations and will invest in our children. If elected, I will act on behalf of my constituents, because the people of Coquitlam-Maillardville deserve to have a representative that truly listens to them.

“Nicola is a fantastic choice for voters in Coquitlam-Maillardville,” added Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party. “She cares very deeply about her community and ensuring people across British Columbia have a voice in our democracy.”
