The South Delta BC Green Party Riding Association invites you, your friends and family, to join us for fun and games, hot dogs and live music at Centennial Beach’s Sandpiper picnic shelter on SUNDAY, AUGUST 19th from 11AM to 2PM. Mark your calendars - rain or shine.
This will be a great opportunity to meet South Delta’s Green Party members and help to build a community of like-minded individuals.
Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen is one of the best beaches in Metro Vancouver, with miles of sand and tidal pools. The Sandpiper Picnic shelter is close to the concession and children's adventure playground.
A BBQ will be set up for everyone to use, with hot dogs, condiments and drinks provided. Feel free to bring goodies to share for this first annual BC Greens potluck picnic. There are lots of activities such as kite flying, beach volley-ball, tennis, slow pitch and Trivia with prizes. Bring your own rackets, balls, bats, kites, etc. Nets are provided.
We look forward to meeting everyone and to making new friends. Please RSVP so we can have enough hot dogs and drinks.

Protecting your health
BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.
Creating safe spaces
The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
