When I first arrived in Vancouver from Winnipeg nearly twenty years ago I fell in love. Some of the best years of my life have been spent here raising my children, building my business, and teaching some of the brightest young people in the world. Vancouver is an amazing city and I want to make sure my family, my children, my colleagues and all the wonderful friends I’ve made can thrive here for decades to come. That’s why I’m running to be your MLA here in Vancouver-False Creek.
As someone who cares deeply about maintaining both Vancouver’s economic growth and its environment. I’m honoured to represent the B.C. Green Party in this riding. Since arriving all those years ago I’ve worked to bring people together and make Vancouver a brighter and more creative place. Whether that’s through establishing the BIL Conference, the people’s TED, or co-founding CRED, a local coalition of academics, businesspeople and politicians to ensure responsible economic development, I’ve always been fighting to empower our community. Vancouver is a beautiful city -- but what good is that if no one can afford to live in it? With your guidance influence and support I’ll fight for a balanced mindful future for Vancouver-False Creek.
