OBG Annual General Meeting RSVP now

Please join us for the Oak Bay - Gordon Head Riding Association Annual General Meeting.

Riding associations are official branches of the BC Green Party. They are responsible for community outreach, political advocacy, and election readiness. Your participation in this meeting is critical because you’ll be electing an RA Executive that governs the work undertaken by your local BC Green team!

At the AGM, members in good standing can nominate and elect people to your area’s Riding Association Executive. You can also nominate yourself from the floor. Whan to know more? Please email Susan Watt at [email protected] and/or click here for a description of the various roles you can run for.

To be eligible to run or vote at the AGM one must reside within the RA boundaries and you must be a BC Green Party member 14 days prior to the date of the AGM.

BC Green's Interm Leader Adam Olsen is our guest speaker at the event. Hope to see you there!

Protecting your health

BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.

Creating safe spaces

The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
