Welcome to the Nanaimo-North Cowichan Riding Association!
The Nanaimo-North Cowichan riding is a geographically diverse and naturally stunning region located on Vancouver Island. The riding is defined in the south along the Chemainus River and Herd Road in the heart of the Cowichan Valley. In the north it captures the southern parts of the city of Nanaimo while extending to peaks of Mt Arrowsmith in the west. Also included in the riding to the east are the barrier islands of Gabriola, Valdez, Thetis and Penelakut. (See the boundaries here.)
Over the past provincial elections the Green Party has steadily built our membership and in 2017 we secured 24% of the popular vote in Nanaimo North Cowichan. With your support we can grow that number even larger and with hard work elect our first Green Party MLA for the riding. We are proud of the vision of the BC Greens and hope to continue promoting a sustainable economy, combating climate change and creating healthy communities.
