Meet Andrew Weaver, MLA and leader of the BC Green Party. Andrew will be with us in Kamloops to listen and share as the BC Greens develop a collaborative vision for a better BC. Join us at lovely Monte Creek Ranch Winery for an evening social of wine tasting, food, and conversation with Dan Hines and Donovan Cavers: candidates for Kamloops North Thompson and Kamloops South Thompson.The event is a fundraiser for the Kamloops BC Green campaigns for the 2017 BC election. Donations to the local campaigns will be encouraged and appreciated. Cost is $50/person and a portion of the cost is a donation to the local campaigns that will provide a tax receipt for a political contribution rebate. BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.
