VICTORIA, B.C. — The B.C. Green Caucus responded to the tragic act of violence that occurred in New Zealand yesterday.
“My BC Green Caucus colleagues and I condemn the horrific act of terror in New Zealand yesterday,” said Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Greens. “We extend our condolences to New Zealand and stand with them and with Muslim communities around the world. We must all stand up against hatred in all its forms.“
“It is essential that everyone, regardless of their religious identity, is able to live in safety. Our hearts are heavy today as we grieve for those who have been lost.”
