The annual Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade and Festival is on Saturday, April 13 from 10:30 am - to approximately 4 pm.
This is a fun day hosted by Khalsa Diwan Society Ross Sikh Temple celebrating the birth of Khalsa & the beginning of the harvest season in Punjab. Bring your spirit of adventure as there is incredible food to try and plenty of new people to meet.
We'd appreciate your participation in celebrating Vaisakhi, to RSVP please select a time slot below and Lesley Malcolm will connect with you with additional details.
The actual parade starts at 11 am from the Ross Street Temple; however, attendees begin to congregate around 10:30 am. Volunteer shifts will start at 10:30 am and run through to approximately 4:30 pm, in 2-hour increments throughout the day. Our booth location is to be determined as it is first come, first serve along the parade route, we plan to be along Main Street between 50th & 56th Avenues. We will text you the exact location on the event day.
Please note: parking is very limited and transiting is your best option, but note that there will be some reroutes in the parade area.
Thank you & we look forward to celebrating with you!
