“I would like to officially welcome Cam, Kim and Sonia to this race,” said Sat Harwood, Chair of the B.C. Green Party. “It has been a long time coming. I am looking forward to a vibrant competition full of ideas, passion and vision.”

“It is exciting that we are entering the official campaign period of the leadership contest,” interim leader Adam Olsen added. “Three exceptional individuals have come forward to offer members and supporters new direction and leadership. I offer my gratitude to them and their teams for serving our party and embodying the principle of participatory democracy.”

The leadership contest will feature a live debate broadcast online on Tuesday September 1. Voting will take place online or by telephone, using a ranked ballot, from Saturday September 5 to Sunday September 13. Results will be announced on Monday September 14.
