Celebrate #Thanks4giving

What are you most thankful for?

Our democracy has come a long way since the 2017 election.

And it's thanks to thousands of British Columbians like you giving your time, money, and energy to make it happen.

Thanks for giving, everyone!

Celebrate #Thanks4giving with BC Greens this October by sharing what you are most thankful for.

Whether it's our hardworking volunteers, amazing donors, principled MLAs and candidates, or even a new government policy — let's celebrate it together:

What are you thankful for?

#thanks4giving your time and energy to improving #BCpoli public policy

#thanks4giving your time and energy to improving #BCpoli public policy- to all MLAs, but especially my favourite 3-member "caucus"(!)

Thankful for MLA's. Activists & Volunteers fighting the Kinder Morgan expansion.

The first thing that comes to mind right now is the court case against Kinder Morgan and this is Day #5. I want to thank everyone fighting in any capacity on behalf of the public that is involved in the fight to save B.C.'s coast and all that goes with that. Following it, the hard work to even get it into a court room is astounding. Thankyou for your tenacity, intelligence, and abilities. I'm incredibly thankful to have the lot of you helping to protect this beautiful and pristine province we call B.C. :)

All Green Party members and supporters

Thanks to the BC greens for the first time in 40 years I see a glimmer of hope for true freedom in Canada.

Colonial holiday

Thanksgiving is a colonial celebration where white people give thanks for all their blessings that they have received because their British ancestors committed genocide against indiginous people and stole their land. I don't celebrate this colonial holiday.

We have Green influence in our government

I am so thankful that my beloved Green Party is now able to represent our ideals. Blessings to all

I am thankful for Andrew Weaver.

I never thought we would have someone as thoughtful, charismatic, intelligent, and caring as Elizabeth May, but Andrew may be her match. I don't know Sonia or Adam as well as I know Andrew, but they give all indications of being great people, too. I am so optimistic for my children and grandchildren. Thank you!

I am thankful for Greens getting a bigger voice in BC

This means more and more like minded people working towards causes that matter to the people like protecting the environment, helping the disadvantaged bringing fair representation on elections.

That many environmentalists & NDP members won’t include a slaughtered bird on thanksgiving table.

More and more environmentalists are aware that choice of a plant-based diet is even more potent than choice of transportation or fuel for lessening global warning and impact on climate change. This is well known to scientists, World Health Organization, FAO, and now Health Canada. Environmentalists are starting to take into account the impact of their own food choices, and some are compassionate about the plight of animals as well.
