The annual Surrey Vaisakhi Parade and Festival is on Saturday, April 20 from 9:30 am - to approximately 4 pm. This is a fun day celebrating the birth of Khalsa & the beginning of the harvest season in Punjab. Bring your spirit of adventure as there is incredible food to try and plenty of new people to meet.
The actual parade starts at 9:30 am from the Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar Temple. Volunteer shifts will start at 8:30 am and run through to approximately 4:30 pm, in 2-hour increments throughout the day. The parade route runs along 128 Street and 124 Street, near to the Newton Athletic Park. Once our booth location is finalized we will provide the specific location.
