All Green Party members and supporters

Thanks to the BC greens for the first time in 40 years I see a glimmer of hope for true freedom in Canada.

I am hopeful Greens make a positive difference going forward. I don’t however see it as a freedom thing when taxpayers are funding political parties as proposed by Greens and NDP. I would like parties to spend their own money only. It is too easy to spend other peoples money. Why should political activities be subsidized by those who don’t share the beliefs or values or actions of those spending the money. As a teacher I took exception to the BCTF supporting executive decisions of which parties to support using teachers dues which are not voluntary. Sort of a handy political slush fund.
I hope I am thankful soon that this bad idea is abandoned in lieu of parties only spending money they receive.
