Green Party of BC Leader Jane Sterk and Green Party of Canada Leader Elizabeth May will visit three neighbourhoods in the Victoria - Beacon Hill riding April 6 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Sterk, the Green candidate for the riding in the May 14 provincial election, has been out meeting constituents since January, and will be upping the pace during the remaining weeks. She's looking forward to spending a day with her federal counterpart, who became the first Green MP in Canada when she was elected to represent Saanich - Gulf Islands in the last federal election.
Their first stop will be for coffee, muffins and conversation at Green Party Headquarters, Cook Street and 1075 Pandora at 11 a.m. From their they will visit:
▪ Fernwood Village (Fernwood at Gladstone), 11:30 am -12:30 pm
▪ Cook St. Village (Cook at Pendergast), 12 - 1:45 pm
▪ James Bay Village (Menzies and Simcoe), 2 - 3 pm
