Saira Aujla nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Surrey-Green Timbers

SURREY B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Surrey-Green Timbers, Saira Aujla. Aujla is a realtor by profession and community spokesperson that runs a Canada-wide East Indian television show.

“I believe B.C. Greens stand for the people,” said Aujla. “I am a strong believer of justice and productivity. It would be my pleasure to stand for a team that is working through progressing the economy.”

Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, welcomed Aujla’s nomination.

“Saira’s passion for and commitment to her community makes her a perfect fit for the B.C. Green Party. She understands that a strong community is built on partnerships, collaboration and hard work – skills that position her well to represent the people of Surrey-Green Timbers. I am delighted that she is joining our incredible slate of candidates.”
