Share your talents and experience as a Regional Rep

Nominations are now open for the BC Green Party Regional Representatives!

This year at the party’s AGM, a motion was passed to reorganize our 14 regions into 6 with boundaries based on Elections BC’s regional definitions. This will allow us to have a more focused and supported regional engagement. We are working together to set the stage for the 2017 election and expanding on regional support is a major step to the goal of forming government.

What is a Regional Representative?

Each region will be represented on the party’s Provincial Council by an elected member.* The Regional Representative is largely a governance role, serving to liaise between the Council and the members in his or her region.

Elections for Regional Representatives will be held online between Aug. 28 and Sept. 10.

*If no nominee is approved for a given region, the BC Green Party has the authority to appoint a Regional Representative.
