Anti Kinder Morgan Protest/Nov 19 2016

This was possibly one of the most important protests of the vital growing worldwide environmental/earth consciousness movement which included a coalition of many groups yet where was the Green Party representation? Here was a fantastic opportunity for the Green Party to show solidarity with a strong representation of the people of Vancouver and the surrounding Indigenous lands and not a Green T-shirt,button,bumper sticker, pamphlet, petition in sight. Not only will the Green Party not win any more seats in the next provincial election but votes that the Green Party will receive will be taken from the NDP thus empowering the Liberal Party. If you want to win the game you have to play it.Get serious!

If we are to defeat Kinder Morgan we need a system to coordinate ALL like minded organizations and get massive crowds out to protests. We need a system that will push out information to all groups and the public of when there will be a protest/ blockade etc. Only by mobilizing huge numbers will we get government attention and dissuade government from using force to break up the protest. The Kinder Morgan pipeline needs to be made an election issue and Premier Clark needs to make it part of her platform if she wants it. Opposition parties should unite to force this as an election issue.
If a system exists please let me know….
