The six Green Principles have guided my life and decision making for more than a decade and I believe these principles serve our democratic process and can contribute to prosperity and sustainability in our communities. I have traveled the electoral district extensively for seven years and listened to concerned citizens about our unique and universal issues and I know the B.C. Green Party has concrete achievable solutions to our challenges and policy ideas that can be implemented now to improve our future prospects as individuals, as families, as communities and nations. I am a middle aged woman from a working class family, who values equity and equality, hard work, stability and looking after each other. I have lived in fully urban and in rural settings. I have experience in most sectors of our economy - corporate non-profit education social and health services agriculture as well as lots of unpaid experience in the arts, environment, social justice, food security, health and community development. I know that cooperation and collaboration always improve the outcomes of any endeavour and I'm prepared to apply my experience, my passion and my hope to being your MLA.
