Meet & Greet with David Evans for Juan de Fuca-Malahat

I would like to invite you to a coffee and dessert evening with a political twist.

As you may have heard, the riding boundaries in the Cowichan Valley are changing for this coming Provincial election (October 19th), with Koksilah Road becoming the northern edge of the new boundary. As a result we will sadly be losing Sonia Furstenau, Green Party leader, as our MLA. For this and other personal and political reasons, Sonia has elected to run in Victoria Beacon-Hill.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to David Evans, the new Green Party candidate in our riding, Juan de Fuca-Malahat. During this informal event you will have the opportunity to hear him speak about his background, find out about his priorities and ask him questions. He in turn would like to hear what matters to YOU most.

I’ll be providing some refreshments and desserts, if you have any questions please reach out. Hope to see you there!

Please RSVP to help us accurately plan for food and supplies.

Protecting your health

BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.

Creating safe spaces

The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
