Richard Warrington nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in North Vancouver-Lonsdale

NORTH VANCOUVER B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for North Vancouver-Lonsdale, Richard Warrington. A former teacher, Warrington studied education and business in Denmark and taught school there for a number of years.

Larry Colero nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Delta South

DELTA B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is excited to announce the nomination of its candidate for Delta South, Larry Colero. Colero taught corporate ethics at both UBC’s Sauder School of Business and SFU’s Beedie School of Business. He also created the first Strategic Alliances seminars for UBC, and was Moderator for the first two years of their Summer Institute in Sustainability. Colero is currently on retainer as Policy Advisor to the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners for assignments in regulatory affairs, trademark issues and professional ethics.

Simon Rear nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Vancouver-Kensington

VANCOUVER B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Vancouver-Kensington, Simon Rear. Rear’s professional background includes working with B.C. First Nations and he has been responsible for research, event planning and promoting voting rights in remote communities.

B.C. Green Party condemns threat to Jewish Community Centre

VICTORIA B.C. - The B.C. Green Party is horrified to learn of the bomb threat made to the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver late last night. Although the threat turned out to be a hoax, any kind of threat of violence against the Jewish community must be condemned in the strongest terms.
