Andrew Weaver releases B.C. Green Party Strategy for Lifelong Learning

VANCOUVER B.C. - Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, released the party’s Strategy for Lifelong learning today in Vancouver. The strategy includes early childhood education, child care, public education, postsecondary education and adult learning.

Connie Sahlmark nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Penticton

PENTICTON B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Penticton, Connie Sahlmark. Sahlmark has been a full-time student for the past three years at Okanagan College taking the Sustainable Construction Management Technologies program, which focuses on green building, renewable energy and resource conservation. She has sat on the Okanagan College Education Council for three consecutive years.

Bill Masse nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Langley East

LANGLEY B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Langley East, Bill Masse. Masse worked for 30 years at the federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans. He was the Chief Fisheries Negotiator when he retired in 2004.

Nan Kendy nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Prince George-Valemount

PRINCE GEORGE B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Prince George-Valemount, Nan Kendy. Kendy worked as a Sessional Instructor in the School of Education at the University of Northern B.C. before retiring in 2012.

VICTORIA B.C. - Dr. Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, released the Party’s strategy on climate change today in Victoria. Before becoming the first B.C. Green Party MLA in 2013, Weaver was a world-renowned climate scientist and professor at the University of Victoria.
