Many British Columbians care about wild salmon and have reached out to ask us what they can do in the wake of the BC Government's recent decision to allow open net-pen fish farm tenures to continue in critical salmon habitats for four more years.
The best thing to do now is send a message directly to the Premier and Minister of Agriculture.
Let them know that you remember their campaign promises to eliminate open net-pen fish farm tenures and that you are holding them to account today, and especially during the next election.
Use your own words and tell the Premier how you feel. Write to him directly at:

If you'd rather send an email, send your message to [email protected] and [email protected] - and don't forget to CC us ([email protected]) and Adam Olsen ([email protected]) so we can hold them to account!
Here's an example to get you started:
To Premier John Horgan and Agriculture Minister Lana Popham,I am deeply disappointed by your decision to allow open net-pen fish farm tenures to continue in critical wild salmon habitats for another four years. I remember your campaign promises to protect wild salmon and oppose open net-pen farms.
Act now to close open net-pen fish farms and show me how much those promises are really worth. When all the wild salmon are dead, it will be too late.
Sincerely,
Concerned British Columbian
