ABBOTSFORD B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Abbotsford-Mission, Jennifer Holmes. Holmes has been a resident of the Fraser Valley for 15 years and is in the healthcare field as a patient transfer driver.
“From an early age I have been an observer of the political process,” said Holmes. “It is now time to be a more active participant in moving our province toward a sustainable and cooperative future. I believe in accountability first and foremost. The people of B.C. deserve a candidate who will listen to all sides of the story and be open to new ideas that will carry us into a bright, hopeful future.”
Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, welcomed Holmes’ nomination.
“Jennifer is the perfect candidate to help bring much-needed change to the Fraser Valley,” said Weaver. “She is a deeply empathetic person who cares deeply about her community. Her commitment to others and her wide range of experience demonstrate her penchant for service and hard work. She will be a strong voice for the people of Abbotsford-Mission.”
