A public debate bringing together candidates from four sepearte ridings. This forum will be an opportunity for citizens to hear directly from candidates on thier individual and partisan affiliated position with respect to poverty.
Service providers will be on hand tabling to provide service and infromation to the general public about non-profit service provision on Southern Vancouver Island.

Oak Bay – Gordon Head
There will be a voting info booth set up to provide information including voter registration info, polling station locations, and what you need to cast your ballot on election day.
This event is being organized by the Downtown Service Providers Committee – A collaboration of service providers that support people living in poverty.
This event takes place within the territory of the Lkwungen people (as represented today by the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations). Let’s continue to dismantle the colonial structures that surround this city.

BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.
