Interim Leader Adam Olsen to meet North Shore Municipal and Community Leaders
North Vancouver, BC – On February 4, 2014 Green Party of BC Interim Leader Adam Olsen will be visiting three municipal offices on the North Shore and joining a community reception.
“I’m looking forward to visiting the North Shore and learning more about the local issues”, said Interim Leader Adam Olsen. “BC Green Party members in this region have been working hard to build a strong organization since the election. I’m proud of what they’ve accomplished and I’m excited about the future opportunities here”.
May 2013 saw the historical election of the first Green Party Provincial MLA, Andrew Weaver in Oak Bay-
Gordon Head. The momentum of the Green Party has continued across BC, including the formation of a North Shore Regional Committee. Committee members will be hosting a reception on February 4 at 6:00 pm at the Café of Contemporary Art at 140 east Esplanade, as an opportunity for the North Shore community to hear from Leader Adam Olsen and meet other Green Party members.
"We're thrilled to welcome Adam Olsen to the North Shore to engage and support our thriving local Green contingent”, said Noel Muller, Regional Representative, North Shore. “2013 has been a pivotal year for our party, and Adam has been a large part of that success."
