According to BC provincial law, an eligible individual can give a total of $1,309.09 per year to a political party, it's candidates and any registered party riding associations.
Additionally, convention tickets do not count towards your yearly political contribution, unless the purchase totals more than $250. Admissions to BC Green Party events do not contribute to your yearly political contribution, as long as the admission does not exceed $50, if not, the payment of that charge is a political contribution.
You can also give a maximum of $1,309.09 to each independent candidate and to each leadership contestant in relation to a leadership contest called after 2017.
