March 22, 2017

PRINCE RUPERT B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for North Coast, Hondo Arendt. Arendt is a college professor at Northwest Community College.

“The B.C. Greens are the only party that looks at the big picture considering the economic, environmental and social impacts of all the decisions we make as a society,” said Arendt. “I would like to be able to represent our region as a balanced Green voice in the future governance of our province.”

Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, welcomed Arendt’s nomination.

“I am thrilled to welcome Hondo to our incredible slate of B.C. Green candidates,” said Weaver. “Hondo is an outstanding educator, political scientist and long-time advocate for made-in-B.C. Green ideas. He has deep roots in the Northwest and is well-positioned to be the voice for the people of North Coast in the legislature in Victoria.”
