The BC Green Party in collaboration with Stand.Earth is excited to bring you an opportunity to view the documentary Fracking the Peace. This film tells the stories of the people whose daily lives, environment, and health have been forever changed by fracking and its related industrialization on Treaty 8 territory in Northeast B.C. If left unchecked, the planned expansion of fracking and LNG in B.C. will also have global climate impacts – far beyond provincial borders.
In Nelson, we will be showing the film in the conference room of the Hume Hotel on Tuesday, November 8th at 6pm. Light snacks will be provided. Please RSVP to reserve your spot.
