For Regional Rep: Vancouver

I am a concerned human, who also happens to be an atmospheric, climate and earth observation scientist with extensive experience in various experimental and modelling disciplines. I am politically active due to witnessing years of inaction on climate change with growing inequities such as poverty, gaps in healthcare, lack of affordable housing and homelessness, with growing systemic injustices and climate impacts.

With unprecedented wildfires, heat waves, poor air quality, droughts, and floods occurring here in BC, I am involved in addressing these issues with my position in the BC Greens policy committee towards with changing the status quo for a sustainable future. As a Councillor-at-Large representing Vancouver, I will extend existing these efforts with the BC Greens team, collaborate with the Vancouver Greens, municipal authorities, local communities to actively understand, address and resolve local issues for our city and BC.

I have more than twenty years of research experience, which includes grassroots advocacy on issues of climate change and environmental degradation. I aim for holistic understanding and meaningful action. As a result, I have a record of delivering results to both local and global communities which have high and sustainable impact. Please contact me if you have any questions.
