COMOX B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Courtenay-Comox, Ernie Sellentin. Sellentin operates a business in habitat restoration and invasive species reduction and has a BSc in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University.

“As someone who was born and lived in coastal B.C. for over 60 years, I have had many experiences and more than a couple of working careers”, Sellentin said. “I want to hear from the community and combine our skills to ensure a great future for the Courtenay-Comox riding and B.C.. As your B.C. Green Party MLA, I will work to change the current divisive politics in B.C. to a more cooperative approach.”

“Ernie is an exceptional candidate for Courtenay-Comox,” added Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party. “His decades in the forestry industry, as well as experience in habitat restoration and addressing invasive species will be an important asset to the B.C. Green team.”
