Don has lived and worked (and hiked) in and around Metro Vancouver most of his life. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Simon Fraser University in 1990 then married and settled down eventually raising three children. He is the founder of two high tech businesses (Softline Systems and UsedVancouver.com) and a lifelong advocate for the great outdoors of British Columbia. Currently he volunteers with his daughter's ice hockey association, with the Green Party, and has for three years volunteered as the course marshall coordinator for the Suburban Rush adventure race in Port Moody. In addition to being handy at the computer, he also takes pride in maintaining his home and vehicle, and is handy with a kayak paddle.
