The Delta South BC Green Party Riding Association invites you, your friends and family, to join us for fun, live music and good conversation at Centennial Beach’s Sandpiper picnic shelter. This will be a great opportunity to meet local BC Greens and other like-minded individuals. Additionally, Jonina Campbell, Deputy Leader, will be attending.
Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen is one of the best beaches in Metro Vancouver, with miles of sand and tidal pools. The Sandpiper Picnic shelter is close to the concession and children's adventure playground. The picnic shelter will be the focal point for a meet and greet, barbecue and live band.
A barbecue will be set up, with hot dogs, condiments and drinks provided. Feel free to bring goodies to share for a potluck picnic. There will be lots of possibilities for fun such as kite flying, beach volleyball, tennis, slow pitch and a trivia quiz. Bring your own rackets, balls, bats, kites, etc. Nets are provided.
We look forward to meeting everyone and making new friends.

Protecting your health
BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.
Creating safe spaces
The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
