Join Sonia Furstenau for a virtual pumpkin carving contest!
Question: What goes better than pumpkin carving, politics, and maybe a cocktail?
Answer: Nothing. (Sorry, that was a trick question.)
...Which is why we’re thanking our donors with this perfect trio!
To recognize and celebrate the incredible impact your support has had this year, you’re invited to let your creative juices spill all over a pumpkin.
Join leader MLA Sonia Furstenau for our 🍂Fall Donor Impact Party🍂 on Tuesday, October 25 at 7pm.
Aside from the contest, you’ll get the chance to ask Sonia about what she and Adam have been working on this session and chat with other BC Green donors about your legislative priorities.
The prizes!
We will be giving away prizes for three different carving categories. While the categories won't be revealed until the event starts, we'll let you in on what prizes are up for grabs:
Handcrafted in Vancouver, Mala the Brand plants a tree with every purchase made with their partnership with Trees for the Future.
Sisters Sage, run by co-founding sisters, uses traditional Indigenous ingredients to hand-craft modern wellness and self-care products.
From personal care products, to home cleaners, to toys for your pet, Simply Natural Canada sells Canadian made products and offers plastic-free shipping.
Get ready to carve 🔪🎃
- Register: Sign up before October 25 to be sent the Zoom link and spooky cocktail recipe card in time.
- Get prepped: This party is B.Y.O.P. (Bring your own pumpkin)! Be sure to have your pumpkin picked out and your carving supplies ready.

Don’t feel like pumpkin carving? You’re still invited! Grab a drink and offer Sonia some creative feedback as she goes. Email our Donor Care team at [email protected] if you have any questions or suggestions.

Protecting your health
BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.
Creating safe spaces
The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
