Join Sonia Furstenau for a garden party!
On Thursday, August 11, come hang out with leader MLA Sonia Furstenau for our second Donor Impact Party of 2022 🧑🏻🌾
If you’ve made one or more gifts this year, please let us thank you by virtually hosting you for Sonia’s home garden party.
Join us from your own garden, backyard, or another relaxing place where you’ll get the chance to chat with Sonia as she shares with you the trials and tribulations of tending to her garden.
Getting ready for the party 🏡
- Register: Sign up before August 11 to be sent the Zoom link in time.
- Get ready to plant: Although we might not get through them all, Sonia thinks beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, peas, kale, and spinach would be a great place to start in preparing for our fall gardens.
- Have fun: On August 11, get set up outside or wherever your WiFi can reach, log into the Zoom session, and get ready to have some fun!
Keep an eye on this page for updates on how you can join in on the planting and other exciting details. If gardening isn’t your thing, please join us anyways! You are welcome to bring some other craft or project along. Email our Donor Care team at [email protected] if you have any questions or suggestions.

Protecting your health
BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.
Creating safe spaces
The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
