I started my career in Education but moved to Community Economic Development, conceiving of and starting up projects including a farmers' market, renovation of a historic mansion and the start up of an international private school. I was Director of Education for a First Nations community. I currently live in Powell River and manage a family friendly website. I am very connected here.
In the capacity of Councillor at Large I would bring a passion for the restoration of democracy in British Columbia, for a sustainable environment and for economic development that does not jeopardize the well being of British Columbians. I admire what Elizabeth May has done nationally to become the voice of issues that are critical to Canadians, and am excited to help the BC Green Party elect MLAs who will do the same for BC.
