The BC Greens are thrilled to invite you to our 2024 Convention Rally! Let's celebrate our community and our collective work as we gear up for October's provincial election.
This Convention Rally is a fundraiser and will take place in Victoria on Saturday, June 1, from 12pm to 4pm. We will provide lunch, live entertainment, games and activities for the whole family.
What to expect:
-
Connecting with Greens: Join us for an afternoon of fun! As this year's provincial election looms, let's reflect on our journey so far and have exciting discussions about the path forward. This event provides a unique opportunity to connect with fellow Greens, MLAs, candidates, and community members who share our passion for a more sustainable and equitable future.
-
Prominent speakers: We are honoured to host 2024 BC Green MLA candidates and our Leader, MLA Sonia Furstenau.
-
Silent auction fundraiser: Get ready for an exciting Silent Auction (stay tuned to see what the items are!) that will keep you engaged and entertained throughout the afternoon. Whether you're a seasoned bidder or new to the concept, it's all about fun, fundraising, and supporting the BC Greens election fund!
-
Interactive activities: We will have various activities set up as booths in and around the venue space. These include face painting and seed planting for kids, party merchandise, and election-readiness talks with our candidates.
-
Entertainment: Enjoy two live performances throughout the afternoon, adding a touch of elegance to this special day.
Don't miss this opportunity to participate in a historic celebration in Victoria, the birthplace of our party's legislative history. Let's celebrate our past achievements and look forward to a greener, more sustainable future together!
Note: Your Convention Rally ticket does not count towards your maximum donation limit ($1450.82) for the year. Please pay what you can to attend!
Mark your calendar, spread the word, and let's make this rally memorable! We can't wait to see you there.

Protecting your health
BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.
Creating safe spaces
The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
