VICTORIA B.C. – Sat Harwood, Chair of the B.C. Greens, announced that the party’s Provincial Council has voted to appoint former leadership candidate Cam Brewer to the position of Vice-Chair. Brewer is a Vancouver-based lawyer who ran in the party’s recent leadership race.
“I am excited to welcome Cam as Vice-Chair of Provincial Council,” said Harwood. “Cam brings a wealth of experience from his work as a lawyer, community organizer, entrepreneur, accountant, author, and professor that will be a great asset to our Council.”
Sonia Furstenau, Leader of the BC Greens, also welcomed Brewer to Council.
“Cam ran a strong leadership campaign that brought many new people into the Party,” said Furstenau. “I am glad we will have his voice at the Council table as we move into our next phase of growth.”
“I am honoured to take up this appointment, and look forward to helping strengthen and grow the party,” said Brewer.
