About Adam Olsen:
Adam Olsen brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having dedicated 16 years to public service. He began his political career as a District Councillor for Central Saanich in 2008 and was re-elected in 2011. In May 2017, he was elected to the British Columbia Legislative Assembly with the B.C. Green Party and re-elected in October 2020. Olsen served as the interim leader of the B.C. Green Party from 2013 to 2015 and again before Sonia Furstenau was elected leader in 2020. Since 2021, he has been the House Leader for the BC Green Caucus, demonstrating unwavering leadership and commitment throughout his tenure.
About Maureen Balsillie:
Maureen Balsillie, a seasoned campaign manager and strategist, will assume the role of Campaign Director. Maureen has played a significant role in numerous successful Green campaigns, including leading the winning campaign for Aislinn Clancy in Kitchener Centre in 2023 and Matt Richter’s campaign in 2022. Her expertise in mobilization, team building, and volunteer engagement will be invaluable to the B.C. Green Party's election strategy.
