VICTORIA B.C. – The B.C. Green Party announced today that it is now accepting applications for nomination as the party’s candidate in the upcoming by-election in the riding of Nanaimo.
“We are excited to offer our vision for British Columbia to the voters of Nanaimo,” leader Andrew Weaver said. “A BC Green MLA for Nanaimo can support good public policy, while holding the government to account for bad policy. Our caucus has offered effective and constructive opposition to bad government policy, leading to better legislation. I am looking forward to working with our candidate to offer the voters of Nanaimo a strong, sustainable vision.”
