VICTORIA B.C. – Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, expressed his best wishes to those celebrating the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, beginning tonight at sundown.
“I extend my best wishes to all those celebrating Rosh Hashanah across the province. This is a precious time for members of the Jewish community to come together and celebrate. I hope the new year is filled with health, happiness and joy,” Weaver said.
“We wish all British Columbians celebrating the Jewish new year of 5778 a shana tovah u’metukah.”
