All-Greens Winter Solstice Party

Winter-Solstice-Party-2015_(1).jpg

Join us in celebrating the season with other Greens in the Greater Victoria region!

Enjoy a seasonal celebration with old and new friends. The Winter Solstice marks the time when the world turns toward increasing light, warmth and hope after the darkest days of the season.

Elizabeth May will be just back from the Paris Climate talks. Hear about the negotiations from her first hand.

Come and congratulate the newly acclaimed Leader of the BC Green Party, Andrew Weaver, and hear about his vision for BC in 2017.

Jo-Ann Roberts and Frances Litman will be there. Stay tuned. This page will be updated as other well known Greens confirm their attendance.

The Eryn Sharpe Trio and the Danton Jay and Heather Lynn Duo will provide wonderful live music throughout.

Your ticket includes festive finger food, coffee and tea. A cash bar will be available.  The program will run from approximately 6 pm to 7 pm, allowing lots of time to chat with old and new friends before and after.

Get your ticket early at the discounted price of $15 per person ($10 for students) now.  On December 15th, if any tickets remain, they will cost $25.00.

Tickets are purchased on the Saanich–Gulf Island federal Green Party website (click the button below):

Protecting your health

BC Greens recognize that airborne illnesses and pollutants pose a significant health risk to everyone, especially the young, elderly, and immunocompromised, while caregivers, healthcare professionals, and support staff come into regular contact with vulnerable persons. When choosing venues, BC Greens prioritize outdoor spaces, and indoor spaces with good ventilation. In closed indoor spaces, we encourage attendees to wear well-fitting masks (N95, KN95, or KF94), especially during the respiratory-illness season.

Creating safe spaces

The BC Green Party is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal speaking opportunities. To support this commitment, all event attendees will be expected to follow the standards of our Safe Spaces Participant's Guide.
