Victoria, B.C. – This National Nursing Week, BC Greens celebrate the invaluable contribution of nurses to the health and well-being of our society. With the theme of “Nurses: With You Every Step of the Way”, we are reminded of the unique and central role of nursing in our healthcare system.
“I’m inspired by the hard work that our nurses do in British Columbia and across the country,” said Adam Olsen, Interim Leader of the B.C. Green Party. “Nurses are health professionals, patient advocates, teachers and supporters. British Columbia is lucky to have such a dedicated group of professionals who tirelessly serve others. They are truly there for us ‘every step of the way’. On behalf of the B.C. Green Party, I offer my sincere gratitude to nurses for all that they do.”

Olsen and Green MLA Andrew Weaver will be in attendance at the B.C. Nurses’ Union rally on Thursday May 14 at 11:00am on the lawns of the B.C. Legislature in Victoria.
