Vancouver, B.C. – Media are invited to the campaign launch of Pete Fry as the candidate for the B.C. Green Party in the provincial riding of Vancouver–Mt. Pleasant. Fry is a long-time East End community activist and former candidate for Vancouver City Council.
Friday, June 19th, 6 to 9pm for supporters and the public at The Emerald East Vancouver Supper Club and Lounge, 555 Gore Avenue.
Fry will be joined by: Adam Olsen, Interim Leader of the B.C. Green Party; Andrew Weaver, Deputy Leader of the B.C. Green Party; Matt Toner, B.C. Green Party Critic for Finance and the New Economy; Adriane Carr, Green Party of Vancouver City Councillor; and rock band Joe Keithley & the D.O.A. Rock Steady All Stars.
Fry, Olsen, Weaver, Toner and Carr will speak from 7:00 - 7:30pm, and Keithley & the D.O.A. Rock Steady All Stars will headline the event with a concert at 8:00pm.
