Acknowledge Positive Steps and Statements of Government

A powerful way for the Green Party to demonstrate its dedication to positive environmental change, is to highlight ANY sign of responsible action or attitude by the governments in power. Ignoring positive action and statements by others, misses the opportunity to gain political points. A specific example was Trudeau's recent statement about 'phasing out the oil sands' at a town hall meeting. Why is that not HEADLINES in the green world? Do you not see the opportunity here? This happens regularly and I am getting suspicious. Who is your strategist? (from the NDP maybe?)
