BURNABY B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Burnaby-Edmonds, Valentine Wu. Wu works as an IT consultant, providing technical analyses and solutions for the development of software applications.
“I am very pleased to be nominated for the B.C. Green Party in Burnaby-Edmonds,” Wu said. “If elected, I will serve the residents at Burnaby-Edmonds through promoting high quality education, supporting the clean technology industry and protecting the beautiful environment along the Fraser River.”
“I am thrilled to welcome Valentine to the B.C. Greens team,” Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, added. “His engagement helping new immigrants with S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and representing parents as part of Burnaby DPAC makes him an exemplary member of his community. As an academic and skilled IT professional, Valentine knows that evidence-based policy-making is the best way to make decisions that will benefit B.C. in the long-run and in a sustainable way. He would be an incredible representative for Burnaby-Edmonds and I look forward to seeing the development of his campaign.”
