Ryan Marciniw nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Richmond North Centre

RICHMOND B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is excited to announce the nomination of its candidate for Richmond North Centre, Ryan Marciniw. A former union organizer, Marciniw is currently employed at Yellow Pages in their Financial Department.

“I am running for MLA of Richmond North because I think that the people of B.C. need elected representatives that are unfettered by corporate and union funding,” said Marciniw. “We need people in public office who only have the interests of the citizens of B.C. at heart; people who want to serve the people of B.C., not special interests.”

Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, welcomed Marciniw’s nomination.

“I am delighted to welcome Ryan as our candidate in Richmond North Centre,” said Weaver. “Ryan’s experience as a union organizer and policy researcher give him a unique combination of practical knowledge and theoretical understanding of the challenges and opportunities British Columbians face. I look forward to more of Ryan’s input and enthusiasm as the B.C. Greens continue to build our team and release our platform for the May 9 election.”
