The Prince George Riding Association represents BC Green members in the ridings of Prince George–Mackenzie and Prince George–Valemount, the traditional territory of the Lheidli T'enneh.
Our ridings are home to broad swaths of forests, the Nechako and Fraser Rivers, and the Rocky Mountains. We're employed in the healthcare, government, resource extraction, construction, wholesale and retail sectors serving Northern BC. It's a good place to find employment, raise a family, be part of the community and enjoy outdoor recreation. That's why many people choose to live here.
There are many issues which we must urge government to work on: moving to a sustainable forestry industry, providing better access to primary health care, reducing income disparity and the cost of post-secondary education, working collaboratively with First Nations, doing more to protect the environment and diversifying our local economy.
