Pascal Tremblay nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Surrey South

March 23, 2017

SURREY B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Surrey South, Pascal Tremblay. Tremblay is the co-founder and Creative Director of The Good Kind design strategy agency which helps social change organizations and campaigns amplify their impact and outreach efforts. He is also the founder of Hello Positive, an apparel company that helps positive social change organizations raise awareness and funding for their campaigns.

“I'm running for the Greens because they offer the kind of progressive and refreshing vision I can put myself behind,” said Tremblay. “It's time to transform the political system into one that is once again responsive to the needs of the people. A system that listens to the needs of individuals and families first before special interests. A system that is powered by the people, fights for the people and hears their voice. I want to play my part in moving our province towards that sort of governance and I'm excited to run for the one party offering it uncompromisingly.”

Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party, welcomed Tremblay’s nomination.

“Pascal is a dynamic candidate for Surrey South,” said Weaver. “As an entrepreneur with a focus on sustainability and social change he understands that the economy should support the health and wellbeing of all people, not just a select few. His positive vision and history of engagement would make him an excellent representative of the people of Surrey South. I am delighted that he will be on the ticket with the B.C. Greens when British Columbians go to the polls on May 9.”
