Late Thursday afternoon I called my friend and colleague Andrew Weaver and threw down a Movember challenge. “I bet you can’t grow a better mustache than me,” I said. There was a little hesitation on the other end of the line but in the spirit of supporting a great cause, Andrew took the challenge.
Movember’s vision is to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health. During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches around the world. Through the power of the moustache, vital funds and awareness are raised to combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges (ca.movember.com/about)
For the first time in years, I will shave all my facial hair and begin the journey towards the most luscious moustache of my life in support of a fantastic international movement to raise awareness for men’s health.
