Ellisa Calder nominated as B.C. Greens candidate in Vancouver-Kingsway

December 14, 2016

VANCOUVER B.C. – The B.C. Green Party is pleased to announce the nomination of its candidate for Vancouver-Kingsway, Ellisa Calder. Calder is an information technology consultant for locally-owned Habanero Consulting Group.

“As the B.C. Green candidate for Vancouver-Kingsway, I am excited and honoured to work with my fellow East Vancouver residents to fight for the issues that matter to them”, Calder said. “This community possesses so many of the attributes that make British Columbia amazing, while also dealing with many of the challenges all neighbourhoods are facing across the province. To create a thriving future for this and all of our communities, we need a new political model, one with economic, social, environmental, and fiscal sustainability at its core.”

“Ellisa is a talented and passionate advocate for her community”, added Andrew Weaver, leader of the B.C. Green Party. “Driven by a vision of prosperity and sustainability for British Columbia, Ellisa will be an extraordinary MLA.”
